The Rosario Breast Center founded in 1978, better known by its acronym CEMA, was the first medical center in the country devoted exclusively to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the BREAST. OBJECTIVES - Provide the latest diagnostic technology; - Perform quick diagnosis with high degree of accuracy; - Avoid repetition of studies, saving time and excessive radiation to patients; - Avoid unnecessary biopsies for benign disease, which is not likely to progress to cancer; - Perform modern treatments that achieve healing with reduced interventions, with less mutilation and equal oncologic outcome for patients; - Achieve brief hospitalizations, 24 to 48 hours, for all type of surgeries, with significant cost savings; MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL GROUP The human group meeting convened with these intentions has turned CEMA in a friendly house, with high esprit de corps, serious dedication, professionalism and ongoing scientific update, attested by the awards and honors that were awarded in 1985, 1992, 1998 and 2015.
