Istanbul Medeniyet University Breast Unit is a full teaching, research and treatment facility of the North Anatolian region of Istanbul. Every year, more than 10.000 new patients are taken under screening, diagnosis and treatment of various breast diseases. With its dedicated breast surgeons, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, nuclear medicine specialists, medical geneticists, breast care nurses, laboratories, operating rooms, ambulatory and non-ambulatory clinics, our Breast Unit carries out public services for women and men with breast diseases. More than 150 new breast cancer and about 500 benign breast disease operations are performed every year, and many patients are under close follow-up in this clinic.
